Hi,

I am Ricky Strain avid golfer, instructor, Elite clubmaker, professional engineer and 30+ year student of the game. I played the min-tours, caddied and have worked with golfers of all levels to help them improve their equipment and their game. I have a working knowledge of all most all aspects of the game of golf.

I moved to Gainesville, Florida in 2000 and started up Precision Golf Solutions in 2001 to help golfers with their equipment and their game. I used my Engineering and manufacturing background to develop golf swing training devices, a new line of custom putters and even indoor putting greens. My new e book "The True Golf Swing" is yet another way I have found to help others increase their enjoyment and understanding of  the game of golf.

I was voted the Golf Clubmakers Association "Florida Clubmaker of the Year" for the seasons 2004-05 and 2006-07.  I was honored as  Golfsmith's Elite Clubmaker 2004-05 for custom fitting and repair.

I most recently purchased the Perry Putter Company. The "T ROLL PUTTER" can be seen at my website www.golfputter.com. The T-Roll Putter has a patented head design with the weight focused toward the top and center of the putter head so the ball rolls end over end without skidding and bouncing off of the putter face. The putting method is also very unique and will totally eliminate the "YIPS".

I have read every "Golf" and "Golf Digest" magazine' articles since 1969, and have read golf books and watched golf videos by the hundreds. I love every aspect of golf.. Part of it is the engineer in me. I love the physics and the biomechanics of the golf swing.
